Hacking Public Art with Scratch at the Maker Faire Girona

During the Maker Faire Girona 2020 (Dec 2-6), the UdiGitalEdu group participated with a workshop entitled “Hacking public art with Scratch”.

It was a workshop designed to be carried out online, due to the restrictions caused by the COVID. Families, children and some teachers participated in the activity.

The idea was that each participant, prior to the workshop, would take photos of public art in their immediate vicinity, and then during the workshop we would play with those photos using Scratch, to achieve very fun and creative effects, such as bringing a sculpture or a painting to life.

In this Scratch studio you can see some of the projects that participants created and shared. And here the presentation we used (in Catalan).
